This is the last video of our old track. We have a new semi permanent track. More people can gather around the circuit without getting in the way and it's much easier to marshall and a better view for the spectators too. Our club is slowly growing and moving forwards. We race up to 6 cars at a time. We use pitstop fuel strategy with the amount of fuel in your car having an effect on the speed of your car and economy driving means you make fewer pitstops in the race The positions, laptimes, fuel levels and time differences are all displayed in real time as the racing progresses With digital, the environment of a real race is more accurately reflected. Lane length is immaterial, you can be on any lane at any time, the power and lanes being shared by all cars. You can use the lanechangers and have the choice of lane for a particular corner. If there is a car on track that's difficult to pass, it's the same for everyone. And a smart driver with a slightly slower car can get track position and make everyone else work to get past them. You will have to lap people as well using the same method. Bad driving is more heavily penalised because if you crash you really have to work your way back through the traffic - no lane to yourself.
